Welcome to Ukrainian Pysanky Art Club
Dear all, Lexington Community Education supported the opening of their center-based Pysanky club.
Ukrainian Pysanky Art Club was created for those who want to practice writing pysanky all year round.
To learn more about the various elements of the pysanky, traditional ornaments, and symbols. There will be a different theme for each session.
Full schedule in the Pysanky Club section.
No previous experience is required to participate in the club.
I will prepare for you all the necessary materials: “kistka”, beeswax, candle, color dyes, clean and dry blown-out eggs with sketch on eggshells. Feel free to bring your own "kistkas" and other tools.
Step by step, I will go with you through all the essential points of the pysanky making process sequence.
At the end, you will be able to take home pysanky eggs created by you.
